Financial Peace University–WEST CAMPUS Room 108

Financial Peace University:  Stop worrying about money and find out what the Bible has to say about your finances.  Join this group that averages paying off $5300 in debt and saving $2700 in the course of 13 weeks!  Robert and Kitty Robinson will lead and class , will begin on 1/15/11.  Each session will be from 5:00-7:00pm.  Register online for this class at www.dscchurch.com/fpu/.

 

New Testament Survey–WEST CAMPUS Room 107

Pastor Don Engram will continue leading this group in a walk through the New Testament.  They will pick up in Colossians and continue on through Revelation.  Outlines will be available for those who did not attend the first session.

 

Men’s Bible Study–EAST CAMPUS Chapel

Marc Riddle will lead in the study of the book Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges.  This book discusses how Christians have become so preoccupied with the major sins of our society that we have lost sight of our need to deal with our own more subtle sins.  Learn to address sins such as jealousy, anger, pride and unthankfulness. Then hear about the message of hope in the profound mercy of the Gospel and the transforming grace of God that is the means to overcome sins. Boundaries–WEST CAMPUS Room 201

Often, Christians focus so much on being loving and unselfish that they forget their own limits and limitations. When confronted with their lack of boundaries, they ask: – Can I set limits and still be a loving person? – What if someone is upset or hurt by my boundaries? – Aren’t boundaries selfish? Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend offer biblically-based answers to these and other tough questions, showing us how to set healthy boundaries with our parents, spouses, children, friends, co-workers, and even ourselves. Women’s Bible Study–WEST CAMPUS Room 203

Tami Engram will lead in this video driven study, Beth Moore’s Daniel. This is a faith-building study of prophecy that will assist us in learning to live with integrity in today’s self-absorbed society.  The first six chapters deal with Daniel’s life as he faced the kind of pressures and temptations Christians encounter today.  The second portion explores thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Jesus Christ.
