The Adult Ministries Department serves the adult members of our church with a wide range of activities and events. Discipleship and mentoring are at the heart of our programs, which range from small group meetings to large discipleship classes. Whether you're coping with depression, grief, financial issues, marital issues or parenting, we are here to help witness the love, comfort and hope of Jesus Christ in our world.
Weekend bible studies
Taught by seasoned teachers, our weekend Bible studies cover a wide range of topics, including current events, Bible book studies, prophecy, and marriage and family. Each class has its own unique style and format, offering something for everyone.
DS 101 is our new information class that will tell you all you need to know about Desert Springs. We will go over who we are, what we believe, and why. We answer questions about doctrine, our practices, go over various programs and give an overview of the heart of our church. Once all of the information is given, and the group has opportunity ask questions, each participant over the age of 16 will have the opportunity to apply for membership. (Participants younger than 16 can attend the class, and fill out a membership form; their membership can be approved but would not be effective until they turn 16.)
We will hold DS 101 classes on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 8:30am beginning in February. The class is scheduled to end by 11am. The dates are as follows (and are subject to change):
February 9th | March 9th | April 13th | May 11th | June 8th | July 13th
August 10th | September 14th | October 12th | November 9th | December 14th
To RSVP for a class, please fill out the form below. Please let us know in the message portion of the form who will be attending the class. If you need childcare, please list the name(s) and age(s) of the child(ren) that will be in care.

(Prayer Intercessory Team)
We know that any group, study or event that we plan will go nowhere if it's not bathed in prayer. Our P.I.T. Crew (Prayer Intercessory Team) meets weekly to pray over our events, the needs of women in our community, and even specific prayer requests that are forwarded to them from Bible studies and groups.
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
We encourage men to grow closer to God by engaging them in Bible Study, Fellowship, Ministry and Outreach.
Men need to spend time with men. We need to let others know what is going on in our lives and get involved in someone else's. We hang out and enjoy doing similar things, but we are also there for each other when we stumble.
A cord group is a small group that meets approximately once a week. Men are grouped according to age, interests and schedules. (You might be surprised at what you have in common with someone who doesn't seem to be in your stage of life!)
It's a great time when guys get together and study God's Word. We sometimes study books of the Bible, or we go through different Bible study resources. Build relationships while growing your relationship with God!
We had a great time with over 70 men in attendance at Tonto Rim Christian Camp last October. We are planning our next retreat already, so make sure to save the date! This year, we will go October 25-27, Friday evening through Sunday morning. Make a plan to attend and bring a friend with you!
Two Thieves Motorcycle ministry
The members of Two Thieves Motorcycle Ministry are a group of sinners, just like you. We have accepted the gift of salvation through faith and are reaching out to fellow members of the Motorcycle Community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are sharing the story of redemption and salvation that comes only by believing and following Him.
