We want everyone in our church to take part in the DSCC Stimulus Challenge. We are asking that everyone who receives a stimulus check will, rather than tithing to the church, give the money away generously to those in need in our community. Here’s how you can be a part:
Pray
As a family please prayerfully consider who in our community could use these funds. Ask that God would give you wisdom and use the money for His glory.
Give
Give your tithe to the community! If you don’t know of anyone in our community that you could bless with the money, consider giving it to one of these local ministries.

We wanted to take a minute to encourage and inform you about how we're handling the developing global event of the coronavirus. We care about our people and our community and want you to know how we are handling this at the current moment.
Below is a list of things that we want to be conscious of during this time.
WE WANT TO BE CALM
As Christians we know that fear is not from the Lord. We are encouraged by this verse in Philippians 4 - “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Though this virus is a real thing and has affected people we want to put our trust in God. He is in control and we know that He reigns over all.
WE WANT TO BE CAREFUL
At this time we are taking all of our services and moving them to be online. Services will be available each weekend so that you can watch the service of your choice. We would highly encourage you to engage with our online content. We will have lessons for children available as well. We will also be postponing all of our Connect Groups and Bible study groups at least through April 30th, 2020. We are here and available as a staff and the church office will remain open. However, for health concerns we will keep the office door closed so please give us a call (623-435-2105) if you are heading into the church office for whatever reason. Please know that we are always available by phone, email or social media.
WE WANT TO BE SMART
As a church we are following the CDC guidelines are keeping up with the new guidelines as they come out. We have been closely monitoring these guidelines and the recommendations from our Governor and President. At this time we are moving everything to a digital platform to continue ministry and the advancement of the gospel.
WE WANT TO BE COMPASSIONATE
During this time we want to make sure that we are checking in on each other. We don't want to reach a place of total isolation. As you discuss this with your friends and family on social media please be aware of how your interactions come across to other people. We want to be Christ-like and characterized by God's love. If you are in need, we want to help. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
WE WANT TO PRAY
Please be praying that God would use this. Be praying for protection. Be praying for doors to be opened for the Gospel. We are praying and are available for your prayer needs.
