Jeremy Lovegrove

Jeremy Lovegrove.jpg

Jeremy has been married to his wife Vicki for 17 years and they have 6 children together - Kyrah, Titus, Grant, Jude, Cadence and Silas. He has been involved at DSCC for many years serving in youth ministry, men's ministry, family ministry, teaching in elementary Sunday School classes, missions and greeting. Jeremy accepted the Lord at the very young age of 5 or 6 and had the opportunity and privilege of being raised in a Christian home. He was baptized at the age of 13 at a Baptist church his family attended. Although he knew what was right to do he found himself battling between the spirit and the flesh and Christianity became more of something he did to check the boxes to feel good about himself. It wasn't until Jeremy went to a Christian camp in high school where he rededicated his life to the Lord and his faith became his own. The Lord has shown him over the last several years the importance of being transparent with God and others He has placed in his life in order to have his faith be alive and not something where he is pretending to be something he is not.

Mark has been married to his wife Heather for 22 years and they have 4 children together - Josiah, Elijah, Hannah and Rebekah. He has been involved at DSCC serving as an usher and in the Men's Bible study that meets Friday mornings. He also was involved in previous churches he attended as a Sunday School teacher. Mark grew up in the church with parents who made sure he was involved. He came to know the Lord at the age of 12 and has been following Christ since then. He taught Sunday School for many years at the church he grew up in. He also eventually served as a deacon and was on the church council as he got older. Mark has continued to follow Christ and strengthen his walk by being involved in Bible studies, Life Groups and reading many books to help him grow. He also had the opportunity to be a part of a church plant. Mark also enjoys strengthening his walk by being a mentor and being mentored by other men to be accountable as a husband and father.
