SMI REQUIREMENTS & COMMITMENT
We ask students to uphold spiritual, lifestyle, and faithfulness standards in addition to fulfilling program requirements such as finding prayer partners, regular church attendance, 80% final grade, etc. We encourage parents and guardians to be familiar with the commitment the students are making. Students that are found to be in violation of the SMI Commitment may be subject to probation and/or be excused from the SMI program.

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Ask About the Training & Reading
Ask your student what the main idea of the week’s training and reading was.
+Read: “Improving Your Serve” by Charles Swindoll

Practice Memorizing Scripture
Help your student memorize each week’s scripture passage (found in their SMI binder). Consider memorizing it as well!

Give Your Time

Be a D-Group leader! Help encourage and hold the students accountable. Email tracy@dscchurch.com if you are interested in serving as a D-Group leader.

Serve on the SMI Lunch Team! Talk to Tammy Baker or sign up at events.dscchurch.com.

Pray for Them
Pray for them as they prepare their hearts and minds to live on mission. Some specific things include perseverance in their academics, boldness to share the Gospel, and for team unity. Consider joining the prayer team ministry!
