todd lewis

Todd Lewis is a professor and department chair emeritus from the Department of Communication Studies at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. He received the Career Achievement Award in Leadership from Biola University after forty-one years of teaching. After retiring to the West Valley of Phoenix, AZ in 2015, he became an adjunct professor of communication at Arizona Christian University in Glendale, AZ. He has a BA degree in speech communication from Biola University (1972), a master’s degree in communication from Ohio State University (1974), and a PhD in communication from Louisiana State University (1980). He is the author of thirty-seven professional published articles, chapters, monographs, and books, including Second Fiddles: A Bible Study on Biblical Characters Who agreed to Function in Subordinate Roles (Meadville, PA: Christian Faith Publishing Company, 2018). In November 2019, his original Christian Christmas play, Flight 1225 was premiered at Das Dutchman Essenhaus Christian Resort in Middlebury, IN. He is currently writing a sequel to Second Fiddles entitled Third Trumpets as well as another Christian play for Das Dutchman Essenhaus. He is married, has two adult sons, and three grandchildren. He and his wife, Ginny, have been members of Desert Springs Community Church in Goodyear, AZ since 2015.
