Bible studies are a great way to grow, fellowship and get connected with other women in the church body. Join together with other women that are looking for the same things you are. It’s a time to make new friends that you can pray with, grow and learn with, and even laugh with! We invite you to find a study and get involved!
Tuesday bible studies
We've been working hard to make Bible study possible and to create options that will include the most women. This means we are doing things a bit differently for our study that we usually hold on Tuesday mornings. We have come up with several options that we are excited about!
Erica Wiggenhorn is our speaker for this semester, and she will be teaching us live on Monday nights at 7pm. She is teaching a study on Moses: My God Fights for Me: Standing Securely in an Unstable World.
Anyone who would like to, can come and hear her speak at the church. This event will also be live streamed and available for viewing at later times if Monday doesn't work for you.
In addition to the Monday nights, we will have our traditional groups that meet on Tuesday mornings, we just won't be meeting around tables. We will have groups meeting online via Zoom, and meeting in person in leaders' homes. You can let us know which type of group you would prefer when you register.
Our hope is that everyone would be able to be a part of a small group on Tuesday. The fellowship, discussion, prayer and sweet friendships are a wonderful by-product of women’s bible studies. But we understand that things can look different for many families right now. If Tuesday doesn't work for your schedule right now, we hope to see you on Monday nights, or that you’ll be able to join us next semester.
Our Precept group will be studying King David this semester in 1 Samuel - God's Search for a Man After His Own Heart.
From judges to kings, from the departure of God's glory to the assurance of His help, from inquiring of the Lord to inquiring of a medium - this book of contrasts sets before us the importance of a life of obedience and how it's lived out in the midst of interpersonal conflicts.
What is a precept study?
Precept uses the inductive method of bible study, digging deep into the richness of God's word. The inductive study method is an investigative approach to the Bible using three basic components: Observation Interpretation and Application.
This study will meet for 9 weeks. You can meet in person on Tuesday mornings, or you can join in the teaching via Zoom.
We hope you find a Bible study option that works for you! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
thursday evening bible study
Our Wednesday study is moving to Thursdays! This is a great group of women that enjoy meeting in the evening to study God's Word together.
Our Thursday study will be doing the study mentioned above. We invite our ladies to attend the Monday evening live session, OR watch the video sessions HERE and then we will meet in Zoom Groups on Thursdays.
