d|s women

bible studies

Bible studies are a great way to grow, fellowship and get connected with other women in the church body.  Join together with other women that are looking for the same things you are. It’s a time to make new friends that you can pray with, grow and learn with, and even laugh with! We invite you to find a study and get involved!

Tuesday bible studies

Tuesday Studies meet at 8:45am and will resume on September 13 & 20! We start with a buffet breakfast. The program begins at 9am with worship and prayer, we have time around our tables and are finished by 11am.

When you register for Bible study as a new participant, we will assign you to a leader. We have a wonderful group of leaders this semester, including several new leaders! Joining a table with some ladies and a leader that you may not know can feel intimidating, but it's a great way to build relationships and to have to people and personalities speaking into your life. If you are returning to our study from the Fall semester, you will remain at the same table.

We offer childcare for nursery through preschool age children. We do not charge for our childcare, but we do take an offering each week to help offset expenses. We do not currently have the staff available to cover classes for home school aged children.

Here are the details on our 2 morning options:

Main Study: An Unexpected Revival by Erica Wiggenhorn (this study is also offered via Zoom on Thursday mornings; see below)

Do you long to feel a closer connection to God? To discern His voice, experience His peace and live in His joy?
We are not the first people to believe our doubts and doubt our beliefs when circumstances spiral out of control. In those times God pursues us with His goodness desiring to bring revival to our broken hearts.  Ezekiel's prophecies give a unique picture of revival - one sparked through people who seemed counted out, cast aside and disregarded.

Through a study of the book of Ezekiel, God offers us an invitation to:

  • experience His faithfulness when surrounded by uncertainty

  • reignite our hope instead of losing heart

  • realize the call of god, reawakening us to our purpose

  • rest in contentment rather than dwell in disappointment

An Unexpected Revival sparks a fire in our longing heart to feel renewed excitement in our relationship with God. Instead of going through the motions, checking the boxes and wondering why God feels so far away, Ezekiel teaches us to come close and invite God to fill us with fresh fire. God offers His joy, peace and purpose to any who seek it. Do you long for revival?

In addition to Tuesday mornings, this study is being offered on Thursday mornings at 9am via Zoom. You can sign up for this option in the same registration form.

Precept Study: Titus - Developing Character and Integrity in the Midst of a Society Which Has Lost Respect for God

How do you live with integrity in a nation without morals? Can the church effectively engage and change this destructive condition in our society? How does your life reflect your faith? You can change the culture into which God has called you.

We hope you find a Tuesday study option that works for you! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Wednesday evening bible study

Our Thursday study has moved to Wednesday! We will meet Wednesdays at 6:30pm, which is when students ministries meet, so this is a great opportunity for moms to join in!

Childcare is not available for this study.

Gideon by Priscilla Shirer starting March 23rd

Recognize Your Weakness To Experience God's Strength In Your Life

When we hear the name Gideon, most of us think about his 300 soldiers or a fleece spread beneath the evening sky. But Gideon's story is so much bigger than that. This is a story about God and His people—His love for them, as well as His strength operating in spite of, even through, their weakness.

This 7-session study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, learn to see them as the gifts given specifically and strategically by God. If you've ever felt insufficient, ill-equipped, incompetent, or outnumbered, this study is for you.
