bible studies

Bible studies are a great way to grow, fellowship and get connected with other women in the church body.  Join together with other women that are looking for the same things you are. It’s a time to make new friends that you can pray with, grow and learn with, and even laugh with! We invite you to find a study and get involved!

Tuesday bible studies

Tuesday Studies will resume on 09/12/2023. We meet at 8:45am and start with a buffet breakfast. The program begins at 9am with worship and prayer, we have time around our tables and are finished by 11am.

When you register for Bible study, we will assign you to a leader. We have a wonderful group of leaders who are excited to get to know you! Joining a table with some ladies and a leader that you may not know can feel intimidating, but it's a great way to build relationships and to have to people and personalities speaking into your life.

We offer childcare for nursery through preschool age children, and we also offer a class for homeschool age children. We do not charge for our childcare, but we do take an offering each week to help offset expenses.

Here are the details on our 2 morning options:

Main Study: Abide by Jen Wilkin

Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you.  ~1 John 2:24

How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth.

Precept Study: Romans Part 1 - Freed from Sin's Penalty - Chapters 1-5

All have sinned. There is none righteous. We are declared righteous by God only by faith in the blood of His Son. Romans 1-5 explains the foundational doctrines of our faith - original sin, justification, redemption, and propitiation. Gain an excellent grasp of the doctrine of salvation!

What is a precept study?
Precept uses the inductive method of bible study, digging deep into the richness of God's word. The inductive study method is an investigative approach to the Bible using three basic components: Observation, Interpretation and Application. You can choose to meet in person on Tuesday mornings, or you can join in the class via Zoom.

We hope you find a Tuesday study option that works for you! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Wednesday evening bible study

If you are a working woman, if you have students in youth ministry, or you just prefer an evening gathering, this study is for you! We meet Wednesdays at 6:30pm in Room 211. Childcare is not available for this study.

If you have questions about the group, email Heather at vansant6pac@q.com.

Our Wednesday study will resume on 09/13/2023 studying Jesus & Women by Kristi McClelland

"Take heart, daughter." Matthew 9:22

Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, "Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you." Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.

Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus' world, stepping into the footsteps of the women who came face to face with the living God. Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.
