Is there anything more beautiful than the first snowfall?

That soft, quiet blanket of white seems to cover everything with a kind of purity we didn’t realize we were longing for. In a way, all of creation feels that ache, the desire to be covered, restored, made whole.

 

That’s the invitation Jesus brings. Through His life, His death, and His resurrection, He provided an opportunity that had never existed before. Jesus' life changed everything. Death isn’t the end! Joy is found in salvation! And the love of Jesus offers us the chance to be washed, renewed, and made white as snow.
